The Music Olympics is an annual FREE in-person ensemble collaborative program open to brass, percussion, piano, string, voice and woodwind participants in grades K–12. Young musicians are encouraged to form teams that mix grade levels, instruments, and schools.

Free coaching

Interested teams can receive up to two (2) free 60-minute coaching sessions with local professional musicians and educators. Priority goes to young musicians who don't take private lessons.

Teams of 2–12

Enter as a team of at least 2 and up to 12 members. Mixing grades, instruments, and schools is encouraged.

All instruments welcome

Brass, percussion, piano, strings, voice, woodwinds, and more. Don't see your instrument? Contact 808musicolympics@gmail.com to request approval.

Coming in 2028: Note Naming & Music Trivia

We're taking this season to build two new games for the Music Olympics: Note Naming and Music Trivia. Look for them in 2028!
